There is where we are currently at as far as Fund Raising and Costs.

We have BOTH MONTHS (November & December) server host fees PAID! Thank you to everyone! That was Goal #1 for us to strive for. Your quick generosity REALLY was incredible supportive and showed the whole community how committed we all are.

As you can see we are still quite a bit from out actual goal of $214 by the end of the year. I will explain the new goal in the next segment.

Our biggest goal was to make the $100 in order to fulfill the rest of the server cost for the year. We are ecstatic to HAVE accomplished that!

With that goal out of the way, our second cost is the vBulletin 4.0 Suite upgrade.

It is new and because of the price ($285) we were not able to upgrade when it was offered even at a discount ($235). We would like to have the suite for our site (it is the "template" to the website) purchased by the time we do our domain renewal in March 2010.

It would be a great to have the upgrade, but if we are still "on a budget" after Jan 1, 2010, we will try to instead use funds (after server payments) to buy tools for the site.

We at Plothook.net would like you to consider the site this holiday season. When considering your gifts of gratitude, good will cheer, and generous good tidings please think about saving a dollar for us.

Currently, DM Bolverk is almost exclusively paying for the hundreds of dollars a year in fees for the server, service, code licenses, and marketing for the site. Plothook.net is non-profit and will never begin to charge a fee to register to join us.

Contribution of any amount would be a great help to her, and it would allow the site to grow. We have many projects for galleries, maps, and character sheet templates that all cost money to acquire and customize to fit our needs.

This is our first attempt to connect with the Plothook.net community, but it will not be our last. If you can generously donate a single dollar at any time, rest assured that it is going to a great cause. It keeps the site running and improving!

Both these donations go straight to a fund held by DM Bolverk (the site's owner) that will be used ONLY for the fees associated with maintaining the site service. Don't worry, we're not going to buy books and dice with your money! Promise!

How Much?

We aren't picky, greedy, or demanding. Seriously, a single dollar, or Euro, or Yen would help out greatly. We will shout your name from the rooftops (unless you want to be Anonymous) and tell everyone how great you are. This means, we'll be listing you as a great contributor to the site to boast about your love for us and our love for you!

Give what you can manage and please give as often as you can. The site is a non-profit community of people who enjoy each other immensely and we hope you too can share with us how much you appreciate our efforts to keep improving for you.
